Last month Computer Aid International provided computers and laptops to Nobel Peace Prize winner Wangari Maathai's Green Belt Movement in Kenya. The equipment will be used to help the organisation with the collection of data which will help in supporting its tree planting projects.
On 15th December 2010 the Green Belt Movement Board Treasurer, Prof Mbaya and its board member Marion Kamau received the equipment from Gladys Muhunyo of Computer Aid International.
According to Prof Mbaya "there is a lot to be documented on the great work of tree planting projects and this initiative goes a long way to support the field officers and the central office".
