Robotics in action at our Mexico Solar Learning Lab

Students from our Mexico Dell Solar Learning Lab have taken part in the RobotiX Faire, organised by our training partner, RobotiX. The Robotix Faire is a family event aimed to encourage an interest in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics among young people in Mexico.

It’s the largest National Robotics Competition for young people in Latin America. This year, participants were challenged to solve different missions ranging from training to become astronauts, travel to the International Space Station and take a trip to Ultima Thule, a distant space body which is the same as our planet millions of years ago.

The fair was first held at the end of the 2005-2006 school year and has now grown to have more than 40,000 participants. 2019 was the first year that Benito Juarez Primary School have taken part, and we hope to see them enter every year. Our winning teams at Primaria Benito Juárez in our Lab were:

1. Team Boticox

2. Team Power ranges

3. Team Los Invencibles
