Brighter Futures Together received 10 refurbished laptops from Computer Aid in February 2025 for their empowering Saturday Space — a group where neurodivergent young people aged 10–16 can explore their strengths, spark their creativity, and connect with others.
The laptops power LEGO SPIKE Prime robotics kits, giving young people the chance to dive into coding, problem-solving and teamwork in a way that plays to their talents and interests.

Saturday Space is designed to celebrate neurodivergence — providing a supportive, inclusive environment where young people can thrive, build confidence, and be themselves. The response has been so positive that a second group has already been launched.
Janette Fullwood, CEO of Brighter Futures Together said:
“It’s been such a joy working with these incredible young people — and the laptops have made such a difference in what we’re able to offer. We wanted to create an experience they couldn’t easily get at home — something that sparks their creativity, builds confidence, and helps them feel part of something special. We are extremely grateful to Computer Aid for helping support this work. Not only were the laptops very reasonably priced — making them accessible for a small, not-for-profit organisation like ours — but the process was incredibly smooth, and their team got our order out to us quickly and efficiently. These groups aren’t just about tech — they’re about belonging, strengths, and opportunity. We’re so proud of what’s already been achieved and excited to keep growing this work in the months ahead.”
