Generation UK is a non-profit which is part of the Generation global non-profit network across 17 countries globally, creating social impact by providing free skills bootcamps to beneficiaries. They transform education to employment systems to prepare, place, and support people into life-changing careers that would otherwise be inaccessible.
Generation received 44 laptops from Computer Aid in September 2025. These have made a tangible difference for their learners across the Data Analytics, Healthcare, and Sustainability Project Officer programmes. They were especially valuable during their busy September launch period, as they transitioned away from older Windows 10 laptops. Thanks to these devices, learners have been able to fully engage with their bootcamps, access remote sessions seamlessly, and work on class projects without technical barriers.

Since their programmes are fully remote, learners use the laptops from home, and these will continue to support learners over the next 6–8 months, helping them gain essential digital skills and building confidence in a professional setting. After this period ends, the laptops will be returned, repackaged, and sent off to support a new learner who is starting a fresh bootcamp (and the cycle continues).
Janelle Davis, Learning Operations Manager at Generation UK stated “We’re so grateful for your support so far this year, and we look forward to working with you more in the near future.”
