Computer Aid has provided 14 laptops to ClickSafe Club in 2025.
ClickSafe Club is a non-profit edtech organisation empowering children and young people with hands-on coding, robotics, and maker learning experiences. Through a blend of digital skills, engineering crafts, and safe online practices, they equip the next generation to thrive in an ever-evolving world of technology.
The laptops they received are currently being used by young people aged 6 –16 participating in ClickSafe Club’s LEGO Robotics & STEM Education Programme, delivered across weekly sessions and bootcamps. They run coding and robotics sessions for children who otherwise wouldn’t have access to this kind of opportunity. These sessions are helping to introduce young people to essential digital skills, build confidence, and inspire interest in tech and computing.

These students are predominantly from underserved and underrepresented communities, including low-income households and ethnic minority backgrounds, who lack access to digital resources at home or school.
Students are using the devices to programme LEGO SPIKE Prime robots using block-based coding software, which teaches logic, engineering, and problem-solving skills. Further programmes introduce students to coding platforms such as Scratch, Python, and Micro:bit environments, providing early vocational exposure to careers in engineering, med-tech, and digital design. Students will complete mini-projects and reflect in digital journals, developing foundational digital literacy and presentation skills relevant for further education or apprenticeships.

“On behalf of everyone at ClickSafe Club, I want to extend our sincere thanks to Computer Aid’s support of our work so far this year. Together, we’ve reached 180 children across Manchester and London, inspiring them through coding, robotics, science, and creative projects. The impact was clear: children left more confident, curious, and excited about the possibilities of STEM, and parents have already asked for more opportunities. We are truly grateful for your contribution and look forward to continuing to work with you to inspire and empower the next generation.”

ClickSafe Club recently ran a Summer Holidays Camp across London and Manchester reaching 80 children, 56% of which were female. This amounted to 105 hours of learning sessions. More details can be found here: ClickSafe Club Summer Report
